At the Forefront of Manufacturing Trends and Capabilities

Exceptional Parts Fabrication to Meet Your Demands

Our full complement of state-of-the-art technology and equipment allows us to provide a broad range of fabrication services to meet almost any design specification. We’re able to process multi-axis machined parts in large volumes quickly and seamlessly using specialized cutting, bending, and assembling techniques.

Fabrication Services

Our fabrication services are offered over a broad scale to meet industry and customer needs and demands.

  • Laser cutting
  • Press brakes
  • Welding
  • Roll forming

Aerospace Sheet Metal and Welding

Two of our unique, core capabilities include sheet metal cutting and welding for aerospace applications.

Sheet Metal Cutting

We leverage a large-format water jet cutting center for creating near-net shapes out of large sheet metal plates. Water jet cutting accelerates erosion within selected regions of a metal sheet through the use of a diamond or ruby nozzle that deposits grit into the water stream. At high pressure, the water and grit against the metal sheet allow us to cut a variety of metals including aluminum, steel, and titanium.

  • 3D CAD files create machine code

  • Precision cutting and sheet formation

  • Work with a variety of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and brass

  • Offer a large variety of finishes, including anodizing and powder coating

Structural Welding

Structural welding is one of several value-add processes we perform during the fabrication process, along with EDM, lapping, grinding, and heat treating. We handle any surface finish and deburring requirements and ensure all products comply with specifications. The highly unique requirements for heating and cooling during the welding process make it essential to use specialized equipment.

  • MIG welding (GMAW)
  • TIG welding (GTAW)

Compliance with Industry Standards

Each fabricated part we make undergoes strict quality control to ensure it not only meets your exact specifications, but that it complies with our own advanced inspection standards.

Primus is accredited to both ISO 9001-2008 and AS9100 D., and our quality management program supports FEMA, PPAP, and customer-specific risk analysis. We maintain robust traceability documentation for raw materials, machining processes, outside processes, assembly, and all other critical services.
